Interested in enrolling your child at Turning Point Christian Academy? Students are enrolled on a limited bases. Our school prides itself on creating individualized curriculum plans specific for each student.

Our admissions team takes the time and care to get to know your student, your family, and your child's specific needs.

FAQs

WHAT GRADES DO YOU SERVE?

We serve K-4 thru High School. Some 3-year-olds can be accepted after the interview process is complete.

 

DO YOU DO ANY TESTING?

Yes. We do a diagnostic test at the beginning of the year to determine the student’s foundational knowledge base. Each child also completes a learning styles test to determine which way the student learns best. Additionally, all high school students begin akin PSAT their freshman year. The ITBS is administered to students in grades 1-8. 

 

WHAT CURRICULUM DO YOU USE?

We use the Bible, Alpha Omega, Bob Jones, ACE and ABEKA. We’ve determined which programs line up best with the TEKS and the Word of God. Curriculum differs by grade level.

 

WHAT IS THE STUDENT/TEACHER RATIO?

The student/teacher ratio is 8:1. TPCA is a small school looking to keep this ratio very low. 

 

DO YOU OFFER A LUNCH PROGRAM?

Yes. Lunch is $3.00/day and is offered 2-days/week. 

 

IS THERE AN INTERVIEW PROCESS?

Yes. The interview process is conducted by a group which consists of our pastor, administrators and selected teachers. Both parents/guardians, if available, are required to attend. 

 

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

Tuition ranges from $525-550/mo. Please contact the school for specific tuition fees. 

 

THERE A DRESS CODE?

Yes, there is a dress code. Guidelines will be outlined upon acceptance to the academy.
